**Job Summary**

EcoSafe® is looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our team in the role of Warehouse Associate in a full-time position. Your responsibilities in this role would include understanding our products, picking and packing orders for shipping, receiving inventory, communicating with team members and working with Amazon software to ensure timely shipments and deliveries to our customers.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be required to communicate daily with our Administration Assistant, Warehouse Supervisor and Director of Operations. Duties encompassed in this role include (but are not limited to):

- Picking and packing orders for shipment to our customers
- Receiving of inventories into our warehouse
- Physical inventory counts on a monthly basis (with assistance)
- Repacking damaged inventories and relabelling boxes
- Using our ERP system (Odoo) to rectify any errors made in the shipping process
- Loading and unloading trucks with a walkie forklift
- Possibility for certification on ride-on lift and associated duties
- Maintaining an orderly and clean warehouse
- Managing the FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) vendor portal by confirming orders, placing POs,updating shipment information, and billing Amazon
- Frequently weighing pallets to ensure compliance with weight standards

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Have a great attitude
- Be able to work both independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Have a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Have transportation/be able to commute to Campbell Heights area of Surrey each weekday
- Demonstrate a strong and reliable work ethic
- Be comfortable learning various software interfaces such as Amazon’s Vendor Portal as well asour ERP system

**Pay and Benefits**

Hourly wage is $20-22/hr and is commensurate with experience and demonstrated ability. Annual vacation time to start is 2 weeks paid, beginning after a probationary period of 3 months.

EcoSafe® Zero Waste Inc. was founded in 2000 with a small team of 3 people operating out of the Founder’s basement with the goal of providing businesses and consumers with an alternative to conventional single use plastics in the collection and processing of food waste.

Diverting food and yard waste from landfills cuts down considerably on greenhouse gas emissions produced by the decomposition of organic material and allows these products to be repurposed into nutrient rich compost, which when applied to agricultural purposes reduces our reliance on chemical fertilizers and helps prevent soil erosion.

Since it’s inception, the business has grown to over a dozen employees and currently operates throughout North America out of our 20,000 sq. ft. facility in South Surrey, BC. While much has changed over the past 20 years, our commitment to providing our employees with an ethical work-life balance, fair pay, and meaningful employment has not.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
