Job Description:
We are a small team of hard-working professionals looking for the next key employee(s) to join our team.
You are a fast learner who is naturally curious and wants to be exposed to a variety of situations where our credit solutions help clients grow and improve their business.
As the Credit Analyst/Administrator, you will be involved in a variety of tasks and duties including:
- Loan administration, monitoring and general administrative support
- Managing borrower-related tasks including payment coordination, communication, and ongoing relationship support
- Assisting with analysis and due diligence of prospective borrowers
- Ad-hoc projects, general office duties and tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, interpret, and distill financial information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Experience working with and creating financial models.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems and programs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
- Currently enrolled in or interest in pursuing a professional designation (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBV, CAIA, FRM, etc.) is considered an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding and/or app development (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA, JavaScript, C++) is considered beneficial.
- Experience in the creation and review of loan documentation is beneficial.
