Dynasty Power Inc. is an independent trading company located in Calgary, AB. Dynasty trades electricity, natural gas, and environmental products across the US, Canada, Mexico, and the EU.

Dynasty is active in all the major power trading markets including CAISO, Ontario IESO, ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, MISO, SPP, AESO, and ERCOT.

Dynasty is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our mid-office team as a credit analyst. At Dynasty, we embrace a truly entrepreneurial spirit, which is ingrained in all we do. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks and work closely with our front office to establish new trading counterparties and support existing relationships. We are looking for a team player, who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, but is able to provide analytical insight and shows strong attention to detail.

This position is full time and located in our Calgary office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing collateral positions and credit exposures
- Issuing and negotiating collateral
- Issuing margin calls to counterparties
- Completing daily and monthly credit reporting
- Assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing counterparties
- Completing initial, annual and interim reviews of a portfolio of counterparties
- Maintaining strong counterparty relationships
- Working with internal groups to manage credit relationships and positions
- Reviewing, editing, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of trading and supplier contracts
- Networking within the credit community to build relationships and increase Dynasty’s profile

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years in a credit analyst role in a commercial banking or energy company setting
- Business or economics undergraduate degree
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Great team player and communicator
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to succinctly analyze financial and non-financial information and identify key risks
- Self-starter
- Experience with Master Agreements such as ISDA, NAESB, EEI, EFET is desirable
