Position Summary:

We're seeking experienced Basketball Coaches with a passion for elite player development and youth mentorship. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing program that emphasizes excellence, accountability, and long-term success both on and off the court.

The ideal candidate brings a strong basketball background, proven coaching results, and a desire to mentor young athletes toward collegiate and professional success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead 2–3 structured practices per week focused on player skill, mindset, and performance.
  • Coach at 5+ P32/E32 U.S. travel tournaments throughout the summer season .
  • Implement high-level player development systems and advanced basketball strategies.
  • Guide athletes through the college recruitment and scholarship process (NCAA, U SPORTS, International).
  • Foster a positive, professional, and disciplined team culture.
  • Communicate effectively with players, families, and academy leadership.
  • Represent MUMBA Academy and New Balance with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven coaching experience in elite, prep, or competitive youth basketball.
  • Strong technical knowledge, basketball IQ, and player development expertise.
  • Ability to motivate, teach, and mentor student-athletes of various skill levels.
  • Understanding of college recruitment pathways (NCAA, U SPORTS, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid passport (for travel tournaments).
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) required.
  • Available for evening practices (2–3x per week) and weekend travel.
