Your Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, we are looking for a
Director, Finance
to join our fast-paced, growing team. This individual will lead our finance and accounting function, working with a back-office team to go beyond traditional bookkeeping and become a strategic partner to a company with immense growth potential. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will leverage deep financial insights to drive profitability, optimize sourcing and pricing strategies, and guide product selection, directly shaping our trajectory for significant expansion. Key Accountability and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement financial strategies that align with business goals, focusing on profitability, cost optimization, and sustainable growth, with an entrepreneurial approach to seizing market opportunities.
- Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, long-term financial plans, and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic investments.
- Deliver regular, clear, and concise financial reports to leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions that fuel growth.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure financial integrity, and mitigate risks.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights on sourcing, pricing, product selection, and operational efficiency, driving significant business growth.
- Partner with operations, sales, and procurement teams to align financial strategies with business objectives, fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive company-wide growth.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing materials and production processes while maintaining our quality standards.
- Streamline finance and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while minimizing administrative overhead.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax requirements, and industry standards while proactively managing financial risks.

What are we looking for in a successful candidate?
- 7+ years experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
- Exposure to the manufacturing industry, with experience leading inventory management and capital asset management functions preferred
- Exceptional ability to present complex financial insights in a clear, concise manner to non-financial stakeholders, inspiring confidence in growth strategies
- A proactive, innovative thinker excited about driving significant growth at a company with high potential, eager to inform strategy and seize opportunities to scale the business
- Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business strategies, with a focus on pricing, sourcing, or product optimization
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, Power BI)
- Natural people leader and relationship builder who can establish trust early across the company
- A self-starter who anticipates business needs, proactively provides solutions, and is energized by the prospect of unlocking the company's potential through strategic financial leadership
