What You'll Do
You'll report to the National Human Resources Manager, and your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting leaders across Canada with recruitment—from job postings to offers
- Administering long-term disability, WSIB/WCB, and provincial occupational injury claims
- Overseeing quarterly HR metrics and reporting
- Managing service award programs and employee documentation (e.g. employment letters)
- Promoting safety culture through reporting and program support
- Coordinating and conducting interviews with hiring managers
- Setting up new hires and ensuring onboarding runs smoothly
- Maintaining confidentiality and consistency in all HR processes
What You'll Bring
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (required)
- Familiarity with ADP systems is a strong asset
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across all levels
- A high level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Eastern and Atlantic branches
