Peaskie Minerals is a premier supplier of domestically sourced proppants and silica flour to the West Central Sedimentary Basin (WCSB). Our facility is located approximately 12 km north of Redwater or a 45-minute drive from north Edmonton.
Shift schedule: Monday - Friday - 8 hours per day
Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant – Field Support provides essential administrative support to field managers. This role is responsible for managing paperwork related to time sheets, employee scheduling, call-ins, and other field documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

General Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and process paper time sheets from field employees, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist field managers with scheduling and shift adjustments, including coverage for call-ins or absences.
- Maintain and update staff rosters, contact lists, and scheduling templates.
- Support field teams with the completion, tracking, and filing of required paperwork and reports.
- Communicate with field employees regarding scheduling changes, time sheet corrections, and general administrative matters.
- Enter and organize data from time sheets and reports into internal systems or spreadsheets.
- Prepare and distribute weekly reports for field management as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive documents.
- Provide general office support such as answering phones, responding to emails, filing, and photocopying.
- Book training for employees as required.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Experience:
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a field operations or similar environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with regular communication and coordination with field staff and managers.
- Monday to Friday, full-time hours. Occasional on call weekend work required. Overtime as required.
