The Garage Door Depot of Greater Vancouver is an award winning commercial and residential overhead door sales and service company. We are also a certified "_Great Place to Work"_.

With a large team of field technicians servicing multiple locations and properties daily, we are in need of an additional Service Coordinator to join our team.

Here are the Primary Elements and Functions of this Position:

General Operations & Scheduling:

  • Ensure incoming calls are answered/resolved/completed promptly and professionally.
  • Creation of job cards/work orders as needed in our service system
  • Schedule Regular service, preventative maintenance and emergency services
  • Maintain constant awareness of technician resources using company tools including the Fleet GPS services
  • Ensure new messages from company voice mail and the answering service is reacted
  • Complete and Review After hours service scheduling
  • Coordinate workload & job resource needs utilizing internal staff resources & external vendor resources
  • Review of field work-orders/job cards completed and submit for invoicing and/or quoting for further services/product and/or problem identification
  • Processing of warranty work orders as completed
  • Encourage the sales of services and preventative maintenance
  • Work with technicians to increase per call sales of parts, labour and add on services

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Provide general office support as required on a project or special needs basis.
  • Work with the management team on strategies and concepts for further business development
  • Attend and/or complete training as requested
  • Assist other members of the office staff when requested.
  • Keep office and work areas clean, safe, secure and free from clutter.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management from time to time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Projected Total Compensation: $52,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
