Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and expand our market presence on a commission based contract for an initial 3-month probationary period. Successful candidates who meet companies expectations will be transitioned into a full-time, salaried, permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing innovative strategies to drive revenue. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing principles. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future growth trajectory.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including negotiations and contract management.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support business growth objectives.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and reports for management review including RFP / RFQ documents.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within a similar industry (Security industry considered an Asset).
- Strong proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, strategic planning, and project management.
- Ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
- Knowledge of industry-specific market trends and customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
During First 3 Months (Commission-Based):
- Commission-based earnings (based on performance)
- $150 monthly gas allowance
- 4 working days per week
- 1 company-provided meal per working day
After Successful 3-Month Period:
- Transition to full-time salaried permanent position
- Continued gas allowance and company benefits
- Growth opportunities within the company
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $41,668.25-$130,056.44 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
