About The Role – Lead Business Development Manager - Canada (work from home)Orica Digital Solutions is seeking a results-driven Lead Business Development Manager to manage and expand our Energy and Infrastructure markets across Canada. If you are a civil or geotechnical engineer based in Ontario who thrives on building client relationships and delivering innovative geotechnical solutions, we want to hear from you
As the Lead BDM, you will:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the market share and adoption of our solution portfolio (Geosolutions is powered by RST Instruments, Measurand, 3vGeomatics, Syscom Instruments, NavStar, and Groundprobe) portfolio.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in construction, engineering, and infrastructure consulting firms across Canada.
- Drive revenue growth and enhance Orica's brand visibility within
- Mentor and collaborate with technical teams across company brands to deliver tailored geotechnical solutions that address client needs

Role Dimensions
- Full Time Salary position with Commercial Incentive Plan
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Travel: Up to 40%, with possible US travel for meetings and conferences
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives for the Canadian Infrastructure market.
- Conduct needs analyses and qualify leads to uncover new opportunities.
- Travel (up to 40%) to client sites across Canada and, occasionally, other parts of North America.
- Represent Orica at Canadian-based industry events, conferences, and professional organizations.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients at all organizational levels.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Collaborate with technical and inside sales teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM and utilize EPICOR for quotes/orders.
- Operate within ISO 9001 Quality Management standards.
- Established network within the construction and engineering industries in Canada.
- Proven track record of growing sales territories and managing complex sales cycles.
- Experience with public/private infrastructure tendering and contracting (asset).
- Bilingual in English and French (strong asset)
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently from a remote office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Canada.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in business development, technical sales, or project management within Canada's infrastructure sector.

Compensation
• Salary Range $120,000 to $140,000 CAD
• Commission @20% and beyond
(Salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
