Compensation: CAD $72,000/year base salary

Logika Solutions is a software development and cloud solutions company building AI-driven, cloud-native systems for clients across pharma, retail, and service industries. We design robust, scalable applications with deep expertise in AWS and modern DevOps, from AI workflow automation to real-time platforms and custom web apps.

This Bookkeeper role supports a
portfolio of operating businesses owned by two principals (venture capital investors and operators)
. Logika Solutions is one of those businesses, alongside:

  • Logika Solutions
    (IT / software)
  • A golf course operation
  • A sauna and wellness venture
  • Liquor retail businesses

You'll be working across multiple entities, keeping books clean and consistent, and helping provide clear financial visibility as the portfolio grows.

Where you'll work

Our primary office is a brand-new mass timber workspace in Mt. Pleasant, Vancouver. This is a
hybrid role
, and you'll be expected to be in the office
at least 3 days per week
.

Role Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple companies. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial recordkeeping across the owners' group of companies. You'll work closely with the owners and administrative team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financials that support informed decision-making.

Work locations: Mt. Pleasant office (and later, our planned downtown office), with some work-from-home flexibility.

What You'll Do

Full-cycle bookkeeping:

  • Maintain general ledgers for multiple companies
  • Record journal entries and ensure accurate coding
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

Payroll

  • Process payroll for employees across all companies
  • Ensure accurate deductions, benefits, and remittances
  • Prepare T4s and related year-end payroll documentation (with external accountant support as needed)

Bank & credit reconciliations

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts
  • Monitor cash flow and flag discrepancies or unusual items

Financial reporting

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and basic management summaries
  • Support budgeting and variance tracking

Compliance & filings

  • Prepare and organize documentation for GST/PST and other filings
  • Coordinate with external accountants for year-end and tax matters

Multi-entity coordination

  • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Maintain consistent chart of accounts and documentation across all entities

Process improvement

  • Help refine bookkeeping workflows, documentation standards, and internal controls

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, ideally in a multi-entity or small business environment.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing (multi-employee, multi-entity experience is an asset).
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar).
  • Solid Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization—comfortable managing multiple companies' books at once.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or real estate/golf operations.
  • Familiarity with multi-location businesses and inventory-related accounting.
  • Experience working with external accountants on year-end and tax filings.

Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid: Combination of in-office work (Mt. Pleasant, then downtown) and WFH.
  • Brand-new mass timber office in Mt. Pleasant with a planned move to a downtown Vancouver office.
