Duties

  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed.
  • Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  • Help with cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is required.
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
