Job description

Birdies Fried Chicken is a small family-owned take out restaurant in Toronto's east end. We have a small menu specializing in buttermilk fried chicken and we pride ourselves on quality food and superior customer service.

We are seeking a hard working individual with a positive attitude to fill a kitchen staff/cook position.

Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation
  • Breading chicken
  • Frying chicken with attention to quality
  • Packing take-out orders
  • Cleaning and sanitizing
  • Dishwashing
  • Assisting other team members whenever possible
  • open/close of shop

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and friendly
  • Outgoing and personable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Food handlers certificate is a bonus, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
