SALES SPECIALIST

As a Sales Specialist, you play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience. With your attentive service, deep product knowledge, and sense of initiative, you help each customer find the perfect items to enhance their living space. You support daily store operations, maintain visual standards, and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, personalized, and proactive service by identifying customer needs and offering expert advice on décor, furniture, and accessories
  • Act as a role model by prioritizing customer satisfaction and encouraging the team to adopt the same mindset
  • Actively contribute to sales goals and supporting action plans
  • Support daily operations such as opening/closing procedures, floor replenishment, and product receiving
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor in line with brand standards
  • Take the lead in floor management in the absence of the store or assistant manager
  • Participate in the training, and integration of new team members

Your Profile

  • Experience in retail or customer service
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience (an asset);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership, initiative, and team spirit
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Strong interest in home décor, interior design, and lifestyle trends

Work Conditions

  • Permanent part-time position
  • Flexible schedule based on store needs, including day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Standing for long periods and handling merchandise
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 75 lbs
  • Physical activity required: bending, reaching, ladder/step stool use
  • Peak business periods during sales, holidays, and seasonal transitions
  • Supportive and team-oriented work environment
