What are your contributions to the team?
  • Lead an engaged and experienced team of 20(+) technical salaried employees towards delivery of critical parts supporting our aircraft in service, assembly lines, manufacturing sites and external customers
  • Assume all HR responsibilities of the Methods & NC Programming team, including the relationship with Tech Mahindra and their team supporting our activities
  • Ensure the conformity of methods processes and method agents training in alignment with Bombardier's Quality System
  • Foster a culture of excellence supporting production activities
  • Clarify roles & responsibilities of your team with internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate your team's activities across other functions within the organization
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure deployment of our Operational Excellence system
  • Coach your team to develop their talent within the organization
  • Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices throughout the organization
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
  • You have experience with detail part manufacturing (Machined part, Sheet metal, Composite or surface treatment) and aircraft structural assemblies
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college diploma with several years of experience working in a Methods or Quality team
  • You have minimum of five (5) years of experience
  • You have excellent management skills.
  • You have good judgment, you are results oriented, able to work under minimum supervision and you observe tight delivery deadlines
  • You have extraordinary flexibility and are passionate about non-recurring work activities
  • You are fully bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
  • You have previous project management experience, would be an asset
