Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time cardiac lab assistant. Full on the job training will be provided.

Schedule:

The successful candidate will be expected to work three days per week. The shift schedule will be from 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM.

The primary responsibilities of this role include performing administrative tasks, setting up various cardiac monitoring devices, attaching recording devices to patients and downloading results. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception duties and provide medical office support as needed.
  • Set up and prepare different types of cardiac recorders (holter, blood pressure, ECGs).
  • Apply recorders to patients and upload recorded data for physicians.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely testing.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate and organized work environment with the highest attention to detail.
  • Utilize various software applications such as Accuro EMR, Google Suite, etc

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is an asset
  • Previous laboratory experience an asset
  • Previous experience with Accuro EMR is an asset
