We have a mix of family physicians and specialists dedicated to medical excellence and comprehensive care. FCM invests into the next generation of medical professionals by hosting medical students and resident doctors in our clinic so that they can gain valuable experiences. At FCM we aim to provide the highest quality care in a professional and compassionate manner.

We are currently looking for, Full-Time Medical Office Assistants to join our expanding team.

MOA responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Representing Forward Care Medical in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Managing and updating patient records through our electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Greeting patients that come into the office
  • Scheduling patient appointments.
  • Maintaining the front desk and reception area clean and organized.
  • Performing general accounting and billing services.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as: transcribing treatment notes, processing insurance forms, and processing patient notes, reports, and forms.
  • Arranging for patient hospitalization.
  • Overseeing office and medical supplies inventory.
  • Managing electronic communications through our online portal.
  • Preparing clinic rooms and equipment for daily use.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience is not necessary.
  • You are eager to learn and are able to adapt to new processes and changes
  • You are able to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • You are attentive to detail and organized.
  • You are good at communicating verbally and in writing. (Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin are strong assets).

Full time staff have health benefits after the probation period.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
