Medical Secretary

-Greet and check in patients

-Manage patient communication, answer telephone and relay messages

-Schedule and confirm appointments

-Perform clerical duties, such as faxing and sorting mail

-Receive payments and issue invoices

-Monitor and maintain supplies in exam rooms

-Follow up on specialist appointments and reports

-Upload reports to Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

-Experience with EMR preferred, but will train right candidate

-Excellent customer service and organization skills

-Other duties as assigned

Languages: English, Mandarin (spoken)

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Windows; Email; Electronic medical records

Additional Skills: Provide basic information to clients and the public

Work Setting: Health care institution, facility or clinic

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
