**Position**: Part Time - Patient Advisor
**Expected Start Date**: As soon as possible
**Hourly Rate**: $23/hr
**Weekly Hours**: 18-20 hours throughout Monday - Friday, typically a 4 hour shift each day
**Location**: Remote
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Book and confirm patient appointments and accurately document patient records
- Support clinic staff and patients with completing and submitting required documentation
- Follow up with patients and clinics regarding upcoming expirations of prescriptions
- Assist in answering questions that patients may have regarding medical cannabis, including THC/CBD ratio, product availability/ information and consumption etc.
- Provide a broad range of secretarial and clerical support for Patient Care including data entry and document management through an EMR software e.g. Juno, Input Health, etc.
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a courteous and customer focused manner
- Proactively trouble shoot, problem solve and complete projects independently with appropriate direction and feedback
- Demonstrates compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and the willingness to work effectively individually and in a team environment
- Performing other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Must be familiar with Cannabis and the industry. Knowledge of the Cannabis Act is considered an asset.
- 1-2 years of previous inpatient or clerical experience in hospitality and/or health care industry
- Clear passion for and solid understanding of cannabis and cannabis-based products and passionate about providing exceptional patient care
- Proficiency and experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR) software e.g. Input Health
- Experience with telemedicine concept and platforms
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills
- Highly organized and efficient time management
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask
- Minimum 19 years of age to apply
- Clear criminal background check
