Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. This role is crucial in supporting decision-making processes through data-driven analysis and reporting. The Data Analyst will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to visualize data effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct business analysis to understand the needs of stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, implement, and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database technologies.
  • Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
  • Create detailed documentation of processes, workflows, and project management artifacts using tools like Visio.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets.
  • Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by participating in testing phases and providing feedback on system performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis.
  • Strong experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Knowledge of database design principles and experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
  • Programming skills in R, Python, or VBA for data analysis tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Bash (Unix shell) is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.11-$61.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
