We are looking for a Junior Underwriter to join our Underwriting Team.

This role is ideal for a motivated candidate who wants to grow within Commercial Lines, gain exposure to multiple product areas, and work closely with experienced underwriters in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day servicing for Commercial accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and broker communication.

Review risks against underwriting guidelines and ensure files meet compliance and service standards.

Support senior underwriters on new business submissions across Property, Contractors, CGL, Transportation, and Specialty segments.

Build strong broker relationships by providing clear, timely, and professional service.

Contribute to workflow improvements and help streamline underwriting processes.

What We're Looking For
1–3 years of insurance experience (brokerage, underwriting, or operations).

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a high volume of tasks with accuracy.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Detail-oriented and analytical, with curiosity to learn new product lines.

Completion of or working toward a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.

A team player who is coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow.
