**Junior Credit Underwriter - Mortgages and Loans**

**Our History**:Prompt Financial Solutions Corporation is Canadian owned and operated with our office currently located in Burlington, Ontario. We began providing Ontario homeowners with loans in January 2018. Since that time, we have expanded our team to 22 and are now offering loans and mortgages across Ontario. This is a full-time opportunity to join our growing team**.**

**Our Products**:Loans up to $20,000 and mortgages up to $200,000 for Ontario homeowners.

**Our Clients**:We distribute our products through licensed Ontario Mortgage Brokers. We do not solicit the public directly.
- Please note that our staff are currently on a work from home / in office rotation with proper protocols in place. _Once it is safe to do so, all employees may be returning to work in our Burlington, Ontario office on a daily basis._

**What you will do**:

- Provide assistance to the Underwriting team, with respect to loan and mortgage documentation
- Review and assess standard credit documentation for completeness (i.e. Mortgage Statements, Purchase & Sale Agreement, T4A, T1, NOAs, Tax Bill, and Insurance Policy documents)
- Work collaboratively with all departments and team members to ensure process flow, efficiency, and target achievement

**What you will bring**:

- A willingness to learn how we do things at Prompt Financial and to develop in the role
- Post Secondary education (preferably in Business Administration or related field) or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Critical thinking with an analytical mindset and exemplary attention to detail
- Sound judgment and the demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal
- Self-motivation with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Computer savvy, Microsoft Office proficiency (familiarity with a CRM tool considered an asset)
- Experience working with standard operating procedures and adhering to service guidelines
- Proven success with, and a passion for, exceeding customer service expectations
