**What the day will look like**
- Obtain all relevant information not included with the initial submission to ensure a thorough evaluation of the risk.
- Review and evaluate renewal business and recommend appropriate actions to attain premium rate and loss ratio objectives.
- Approve the coverages requested within specified underwriting authority, either as submitted or on a modified basis, or decline the risk in its entirety; refer with recommended action if risk exceeds underwriting authority.
- Complete a variety of day-to-day client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed.
- Assist with completion of carrier and claims bordereaux and other spreadsheet reports as required.
- Assist underwriters in carrying out their essential duties and responsibilities to enhance the overall performance of the team through utilization of the systems and guidelines as provided.
- Complete a variety of underwriting projects at the direction of the Underwriting Director.

- This role provides the opportunity for hands-on commercial underwriting training from seasoned industry professionals in the exciting niche of sports, leisure and entertainment. Our experienced and dedicated team of 12 are in constant communication even when working remotely, and support one other in achieving our shared goals. K&K insures the world’s fun, and it is a dynamic and ever-changing field of insurance specialization. This role rewards creative problem solving and thinking outside of the box to provide the best solutions for Insureds with complex risks, while staying within our authority at all times. We have strong relationships with major global carriers such as Aviva, Liberty and Lloyds. With the resources of a large corporation such as Aon, yet the flexibility of a small group, employees have the chance to learn different skill sets in quoting, binding and issuing a variety of insurance products that support the entertainment industry, with brokers across the country. They will report directly to the Underwriting Director and have a chance to expand their knowledge and expertise both internally and through onsite inspections of risks, industry events, and educational courses._

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Insurance background is an asset
- Atleast 1 year of experience or attended Insurance courses
- CIP/RIBO is preferred or working towards it
