We are searching for an Executive Chef to join our Parkland West Bedford team based in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

Selects, shapes, and develops the culinary teamProviding leadership and overseeing provision of food servicesProviding catering services for internal and external eventsProviding input into division menu developmentLiaising with the Health Services Team to ensure client receive the appropriate therapeutic menu modification as indicated by their medical condition

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

Journeyman Cook papers from an accredited institutionCurrent and recognized Food Safety certificateMinimum of two years in a leadership role in food servicesExperience in volume food preparation in the hospitality or long-term care sectorPrevious management experience is an asset, as well as any other Alzheimer's or Dementia training courses are considered an asset
