Client Manager / Business Development Manager – Trades & Industrial Staffing (Remote, Canada)

About the Opportunity

A growing organization supporting large-scale construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Canada and internationally is seeking a Client Manager / Business Development Manager – Trades & Industrial Staffing to join its business-development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an agency recruiter or staffing-sales professional with a strong background in trades, technical, or industrial recruitment who enjoys building long-term client partnerships and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business within construction, oil & gas, mining, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure exceptional delivery for large and complex hiring projects.
  • Partner with recruiters to fill technical, trades, and project-based roles nationwide.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide workforce insights and competitive data to inform client decisions.
  • Contribute to strategic sales planning and ongoing account expansion.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in staffing-agency business development or client management.
  • Knowledge of skilled trades, construction, or industrial labour markets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with both field and executive audiences.
  • Proven success driving pipeline growth and revenue generation.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ATS systems to manage leads and accounts.
