Client Manager / Business Development Manager – Executive Search (Remote, Canada)

A leading executive search and talent advisory firm is seeking an experienced Client Manager / Business Development Manager – Executive Search to drive client engagement, account growth, and senior-level recruitment mandates across Canada and internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced agency recruiter, search consultant, or business development professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, consultative environment and understands leadership-level recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new client partnerships across multiple sectors and leadership functions.
  • Manage retained and contingent executive search projects from intake through placement.
  • Partner with internal recruiters and researchers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior leaders, boards, and decision-makers.
  • Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and deliver market intelligence.
  • Achieve and exceed sales, growth, and client-satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in executive search, recruitment-agency sales, or professional-services business development.
  • Proven success closing high-value recruitment engagements.
  • Credibility and communication strength with C-suite and executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong consultative-sales and relationship-management skills.
  • High professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
