In this role, you'll oversee all warranty service functions, Tarion inquiries, and purchaser site inspections. You'll lead our Service Technician, coordinate with trade partners, and work closely with our homeowners to ensure that every interaction reflects the professionalism and integrity Granite Homes is known for.

This role reports to the VP, Operations and is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, communication, and seeing results firsthand in the field.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee and support the Warranty Service Technician in daily activities and homeowner visits
  • Manage Tarion warranty service requests and ensure timely, professional responses
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments and trade partner work
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, suppliers, and homeowners
  • Conduct and oversee Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs), Construction Orientations, and other site meetings
  • Track service performance and prepare monthly reports for leadership review
  • Identify recurring warranty issues and recommend solutions to improve quality
  • Train and mentor employees in PDI procedures to ensure consistent service excellence
  • Escalate urgent or complex matters to senior management as needed
What You Bring
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience in residential construction, warranty, or service coordination
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and quality improvement
  • Ability to balance fieldwork with administrative organization and reporting
  • Familiarity with Tarion processes and Ontario building standards (an asset)
