Job Title: Office Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Office Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service at the office, balancing cash registers and preparing the bank deposit, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of product pricing, and performing a variety of clerical functions such as answering phones and handling incoming/outgoing mail.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide superior customer service by cashing cheques, accepting payments, and managing cash flow in the office
  • Answer customer questions or concerns quickly and professionally
  • Process movie rentals and follow up on late returns if needed
  • Balance cash registers and prepare the bank deposit on a daily basis
  • Follow up on cash over/short with cashiers and report to the Store Manager
  • Maintain credit account limits and follow up on overdue accounts as per NWC guidelines
  • Maintain security of cash at all times and report any cases of internal theft to the appropriate manager
  • Perform a variety of clerical functions such as answering store phones, handling incoming/outgoing mail, ordering store supplies, and daily filing in the office
  • Follow TNWC dress code and uniform standards at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • No education or experience required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
