Information Risk Management Analyst

Contract opportunity in Toronto for an experienced professional in the insurance industry to support IT risk and controls. Requires strong knowledge of information risk management, data analysis tools, and risk reporting. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office. High-impact role in a data-driven environment.

What is in it for you:


• Salaried: $75-80 per hour.

• Incorporated Business Rate: $90-95 per hour.

• Contract position.

• Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.

• Hybrid work model: 3 days per week in office.

Responsibilities:


• Participate in the identification, evaluation, and documentation of IT business risks and controls.

• Lead IT risk and control assessments for assigned business processes.

• Seek guidance from team members to resolve issues and escalate where appropriate.

• Gather information and perform basic risk analysis and process research.

• Support IT risk analysis and process dashboard reporting requirements.

• Acquire and apply foundational knowledge of the business, its products, and its processes.

What you will need to succeed:


• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics.

• 5–7 years of experience in Information Risk Management.

• Experience with data analysis tools.

• Basic knowledge of risk management principles.

• Analytical problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of probability and IT risk modeling techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
