Job Summary:
The
Risk Analyst III
supports the
Collateral Management
function within the Market Risk & Counterparty Analytics team. This role is focused on the
effective mitigation of counterparty credit risk
, including margining, portfolio monitoring, and reconciliation. The analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams such as Credit, Middle Office, Legal, Front Office, Settlements, and Corporate Treasury to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to risk policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily client portfolios, issue and receive collateral calls, and ensure margining accuracy.
- Enter and validate margin tickets within the collateral management system.
- Conduct portfolio reconciliations and resolve margining disputes in a timely manner.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Global Short-Term Markets Policy.
- Perform control and reconciliation activities to ensure the integrity of operational processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational and counterparty credit risk.
- Seek opportunities for
process optimization
and automation to increase efficiency. - Provide high-quality service and build strong relationships with internal and external clients.
- Contribute ideas to enhance workflow and operational risk management practices.
Required Experience:
- Minimum
3 years of industry experience
in risk management, collateral management, or related financial operations. - Proven
fixed income
product knowledge. - Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- CFA or FRM designation.
- Post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in settlements or margin operations within capital markets.

- Work with a team of up to 6 professionals in the Market Risk & Counterparty Analytics group.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure risk mitigation and reporting accuracy.
