Summary:
The main function of an Information Risk Management Analyst is to manage IT risk through identification, evaluation, integration, and documentation of risks and controls, risk analysis and research, risk program coordination, or consultation on risk mitigation plans.??

  • Conduct risk and control self-assessments (RCSA)
  • Analyze and test controls
  • Review evidence and document results
  • Support new initiatives related to IT risk control reviews
  • Build out continuous monitoring of controls
  • Perform data analysis and develop Power BI dashboards for control insights
  • Function as part of the first line of defence in risk management

Top Must-Haves

  • Basic knowledge of risk management principles
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of IT risk frameworks (NIST, COBIT)
  • Experience in control testing across cybersecurity domains
  • Power BI development and data visualization skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • SOX or other regulatory review experience
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and application security risks
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the identification, evaluation, and documentation of IT business risks and controls. May lead IT risk and control assessments for assigned business processes. Seeks guidance from team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation. Gathers information and performs basic risk analysis and process research. Provides support for the IT risk analysis/process dashboard reporting requirements. Acquires and applies foundational knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.

Skills:
Basic knowledge of risk management principles. Ability to view problems analytically, Understanding of probability and IT risk modeling techniques. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of data analysis tools. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Information Sciences, mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics, 5-7 years' experience.

Years of Experience:
5–7 years in relevant fields (IT risk, audit, compliance, etc.) Degrees/Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Information Sciences, mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics (Not necessary if they have experience)
