Job description
Perform wiring; assemble parts according to wiring instructions and procedures to
build a complete product and test.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow detailed assembly and wiring instructions, process and procedures.
Prepare work to be completed as per assembly instructions, specifications and
parts list.
Gather all parts, other materials and tools required to complete the work.
Wire, assemble components and parts by examining connections and the
correct fit.
Fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verify assemblies by measuring point to point connections.
Resolve assembly problems by working with engineers and altering dimensions
to meet specifications.
Integrate test instrument and control panel to the system.
Debug and verify test system.
Assist mechanical engineers assemble test frames.
Maintain inventory by reviewing stock, anticipate needed supplies ahead of
time.
Verify receipt of supplies and update inventory accordingly.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Attend project kick off meetings.
Communicate with PM and engineering regularly.
Provide status update according to schedule.
Wears personal safety protective PPE and equipment in accordance with the
training guidelines.
Maintains a clean and organized work area as per the guide lines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Provide daily update report.
Able to travel to clients within GTA for on-site installation and repair work.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist or Electro-
Mechanical Engineering Technician or equivalent.
Prior Test Technician and Electro-Mechanical assembly experience.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
Experience to read schematic and wiring instructions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
