About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable
Device Operations Technician
to join our clean, well-organized, and collaborative environment. You'll be part of a close-knit team of 9 professionals, ranging from new hires to long-tenured experts with 10–15 years of experience. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and readiness of point-of-sale (POS) and card processing devices used across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, clean, and prepare POS and card processing devices for shipment.
  • Test and refurbish
    POS systems
    , including:
  • Power-on checks and software validation.
  • Testing handheld and large restaurant displays.
  • Resetting PINs, testing cameras, and cleaning sensors.
  • Meet daily productivity goals and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate records and track performance metrics.
  • Package and ship devices according to customer specifications.
  • Use
    basic Excel
    to create and manage simple spreadsheets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and consistency in task execution.
  • Ability to work independently and meet daily targets.
  • Strong work ethic and positive demeanor.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, metrics-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electronics testing or device refurbishment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems or similar hardware.
