Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Test Technician with strong Quality Control (QC) background to join our team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality standards. This role involves wiring, assembling parts based on detailed instructions, building complete products, and conducting system tests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed assembly and wiring instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Prepare tasks based on assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists
  • Gather all required components, materials, and tools needed for each job
  • Wire and assemble components, ensuring proper connections and accurate fit
  • Assemble and fasten parts and subassemblies
  • Verify assemblies by performing point-to-point measurements
  • Work with engineers to resolve assembly issues and adjust specifications as needed
  • Integrate test instruments and control panels into systems
  • Debug and verify final test systems
  • Assist mechanical engineers in assembling test frames
  • Maintain inventory by monitoring stock levels and anticipating supply needs
  • Verify and record incoming supplies and update inventory
  • Complete all required production and quality documentation
  • Attend project kickoff meetings and collaborate closely with PM and engineering teams
  • Provide regular status updates according to the project schedule
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform any additional related duties as assigned
  • Provide daily progress updates
  • Travel to client sites within the GTA for on-site installation and repair work as needed
  • Contribute to overall team success by completing tasks efficiently

Skills & Qualifications:

  • College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician, or a related field
  • Previous experience as a Test Technician and with Electro-Mechanical assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions and work independently
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
