Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Technician based in Mississauga, ON. The Medical Technician will perform laboratory tests and procedures, ensure accurate results, and maintain and operate laboratory equipment. The role encompasses working with laboratory medicine, supporting patient care processes, and complying with medical and safety protocols. Additionally, the Medical Technician will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to uphold quality standards and contribute to advancing medical practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine
  • Strong Laboratory Skills, including equipment handling and test analysis
  • Experience in Patient Care, with a focus on supporting healthcare protocols
  • Knowledge of Medicine and its application in laboratory settings
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Certification or diploma in Medical Technology, Laboratory Technology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a clinical or medical laboratory environment is advantageous
