Client Details:
Our client is Canadian Firm who is a leader in the Health Science Nutrition Consumer Package Goods industry with concentration in Health, Nutrition and Fitness with some of the most recognizable brands in the market.
Main Job Responsibilities: In this position, the Accounting Manager would be responsible for ensuring the firm meets its reporting requirements in compliance with IFRS, assist with audit, provide financial analysis.Provide support and leadership to the team (3 Financial Analysts)Full financial accounting cycle ownershipResponsible for the day to day management of all manual accrual accounts, provisions and general accounting for the businessResponsible for ensuring all reconciliations are completed and reviewed monthly for all non subledger based GL accounts for the companyResponsible for publishing the monthly performance review package for the management teamWork with the business to understand variances in various P&L accounts and categories (ex: Other COGS, Marketing Spend, SG&A and Non-Operating Income) vs. budget and/or forecastPrepare/review IFRS financial statement (consolidated and stand-alone) and notes disclosures, consolidated IFRS and PRC GAAP compliant reporting package and supporting information as required for both external and internal reporting requirements.Lead the coordination of the annual audit with external auditors and other reviews as requiredAssist with the preparation and administration of the Canada/US, Canada/China and Canada/Australia transfer pricing modelsLiaise with the Legal department as required to assist in supporting legal entity structure changesRecommend and assist in implementation and monitoring of internal controls and processes where requiredUndertake new projects, develop dashboard (inventory, accounts payable, SGA, etc.) to demonstrate comprehensive performance and deliver clear information.Assist Corporate Controller with various project-based initiatives and other role related duties as assignedLocation:
