About Us:
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 6,400 uniformed officers, 2,900 civilian employees and 530 Auxiliary officers. The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) uses an integrated approach to investigating and prosecuting large-scale, complex frauds. It is staffed with members from the Ontario Provincial Police, Municipal Policing Services and prosecutors from the Ministry of Attorney General (MAG). These cases have an incredible impact on victims and could erode public confidence in democratic processes, government integrity and the stability of the financial sector.
