Our growing and highly respected team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Carrier Manager to join our head office in Burlington, Ontario.

We're looking for a Carrier Manager to manage our external carrier network and ensure our transportation operations continue to deliver reliable, cost-effective service across North America. In this role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of carrier relationships—from onboarding and compliance to negotiations, performance management, and strategic network development.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with carriers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Lead onboarding for new carriers, including contracts, insurance verification, and system setup.
- Negotiate rates, service expectations, and capacity commitments to support daily, seasonal, and project-based freight.
- Monitor carrier performance, manage exceptions or claims, and implement continuous improvements.
- Track KPIs, prepare business reviews, and ensure carriers meet compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to secure reliable, cost-effective coverage.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in transportation, brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Knowledge of North American freight markets, carrier operations, and transportation regulations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with TMS, Truckmate, Salesforce, Load Link, DAT, or similar systems.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
