Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of dental office management, and the ability to create a positive environment for both staff and patients. This role is crucial in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Duties

  • Oversee patient scheduling, ensuring efficient appointment management and minimal wait times.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Organize office budgets, including monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Ensure that all dental procedures are conducted in accordance with established protocols and medical terminology.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to enhance patient care and streamline office operations.
  • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to foster a positive patient experience.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote the practice and attract new patients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dentrix software is a must , minimum 5 years
  • Familiarity with Recall Max . Minimum 3 years
  • strong understanding of Dental insurance , Pre authorization, Account receivable.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and acute care practices.
  • Proven experience in supervising staff and managing office operations effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
