We're currently searching for a full-time Payroll and Benefits Administratorto work in our Etobicoke office.

We want to hear from you if you possess the following skills and experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for over one hundred (100) employees.
  • Canada, Multi province and USA
  • Maintain and update employee files and payroll records while ensuring compliance with regulatory government agencies and internal policies.
  • Prepare T4's and 1099's at year end.
  • Reconciliation of RRSP and Benefits
  • Prepare payroll reports for management.
  • Monitor payroll inbox and respond to employee and manager queries.
  • Support Year End Audit for payroll accounts.
  • Administer and enroll employees in group health benefits and RRSP plans.
  • Process month-end and year-end close
  • Daily bookkeeping, journal entries & reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Variance analysis for month-end, quarter-end and year-end

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in payroll and benefits
  • PCP or CPM Certificate or in the process of completion
  • Experience with multi province payroll and US required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of financial systems, reporting, and analysis
  • Cost efficient, highly organized, and results oriented.
  • Intermediate Excel and knowledge of pivot tables
  • Experience with Payworks and Paychex an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Initiative-taking, enthusiastic, and dedicated.
  • Proven communication, planning, and computer abilities
  • Excellent team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: 60k-65K per annum
