Job Title: Payroll Accountant Pay rate: $40-$43 Location: Candidate need to be located in the GTA (Remote) Contract. About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant to handle payroll accounting functions, including processing, reconciling, and filing remittance reports to the CRA. The ideal candidate has strong payroll accounting experience, is detail-oriented, and can support year-end processes efficiently. Experience with Workday is a plus for generating year-end reports. Key Responsibilities: • Process, reconcile, and file payroll remittance reports to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). • Manage year-end payroll filing and reconciliation of remittance reports. • Support payroll accounting functions and ensure accuracy in reporting. • Generate payroll-related reports; Workday experience is advantageous. • Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting. Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of payroll accounting or payroll administration experience. • Extensive experience processing, filing, and reconciling CRA remittance reports. • Experience with year-end payroll processes and reconciliations. • Knowledge of Workday payroll system is an asset. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
