Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional, visible, and alert security presenceGreet, assist, and direct visitors and staffEnsure the safety and security of clients, property, and assetsWork effectively both independently and as part of a teamConduct patrols (interior/exterior), monitor CCTV, and enforce site policies/by-lawsRespond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms; de-escalate and provide assistance as requiredComplete accurate documentation, reports, and investigationsPerform patient watches and access/key control dutiesCarry out monthly safety inspections and report hazards/deficienciesSupport other security tasks and duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestProof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)Steps to get your immunization records:
  
Immunization Form:KHSC Immunization Forms  Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferredMinimum 6 months of non-healthcare security experience preferredMust be able to commit to full-time availability for no less than 6 monthsEnglish proficiency (oral & written) is requiredBilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset6+ months of customer service experience is considered an assetMust be able to provide certifications in Stay SafeApplicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all the costs of the certification with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityLegally authorized to work in Canada

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C

Valid Ontario Security License
