Site: Kingston General Hospital - 76 Stuart
Hours: Continental Rotation /
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement after 88 Hours
Payrate:  $22.61/hour

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional, visible security presenceGreet, assist, and direct the publicProtect clients, staff, buildings, and assetsWork independently and as part of a teamConduct interior/exterior patrols and respond to emergenciesDocument and report incidents, investigate as requiredPerform patient watches and enforce hospital policies/by-lawsManage access control, keys, and parking enforcementSupport monthly safety inspections and other assigned dutiesAdditional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License  Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)  Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test  Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)  A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) Steps to get your immunization records: 
 
Immunization Form: KHSC Immunization Forms Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)6+ months security experience (healthcare or non-healthcare preferred)Full-time availability, minimum 6-month commitmentEnglish proficiency (oral & written) required; bilingualism (English/French) an asset6+ months customer service experience preferredMust be able to provide certifications in Stay SafeApplicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all the costs of the certification with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityAuthorized to legally work in Canada

Valid Ontario Security License

First Aid, CPR Level C
