Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. Own transportation will be required.

Schedule

  • 7 hours every weekend (complete between 5 PM Friday and 6AM Monday)

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
  • Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed to uphold facility standards.
  • Reporting maintenance issues to management.
  • Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to ensure safety.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina with the ability to lift and move items as necessary.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
