ABOUT THE JOB

The Assistant Studio Coordinator is an integral part of the School of Rock Vancouver team by helping to create an amazing experience and community with students, parents and instructors. With strong customer service and organizational skills, the Assistant Studio Coordinator will be primarily responsible for customer service and sales, while working closely with the Studio Manager and Coordinators to assist with administrative and other duties as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and check-in all students and guests
  • Manage incoming leads and respond to customer inquiries through the school's ticketing system, email, phone, and other methods
  • Schedule and lead tours of prospective students
  • Answer phones and emails while providing excellent customer service to existing and prospective customers
  • Assist the Studio Manager, Music Director and General Manager with a wide variety of tasks, projects, and other duties as required
  • Attend events and represent School of Rock Vancouver as needed
  • Manage the opening and closing of the school
  • Adhere to the School of Rock Code of Conduct, safety policies, and other policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in customer service or sales, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities during busy times
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn new software and digital processes quickly
  • Friendly, welcoming, and outgoing, with the confidence to engage students, parents, and instructors throughout the day
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a positive studio atmosphere
  • Interest in music or the arts is an advantage
  • Experience working with youth is an asset
  • A clean criminal record background check is required and is a condition of employment
  • This position is entirely in-person at our Vancouver location. No remote work is available.
  • 30-40 hours per week, 12:30pm-9pm on weekdays, and 9:30am - 6pm weekends. Shift times and days are subject to change and may vary depending on scheduled events and lesson schedules.
