About Us

INBLACK(ESCAPE ROOM) Entertainment is an escape room and entertainment company with multiple locations in Toronto. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Admin professional to join our team

Job Overview

  • Record and categorize daily accounting transactions of the company (using QuickBooks or other accounting software)
  • Track and reconcile store revenue records, organize and archive invoices and reimbursement receipts
  • Prepare documentation required for annual tax filings

Duties

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Prior experience in bookkeeping or SME (small/medium enterprise) accounting is preferred
  • Good English reading and writing skills with the ability to understand financial terminology
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and strong sense of confidentiality
  • Stable working schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Experience

  • Proven experience in corporate finance or a similar accounting role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including account analysis, auditing, and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QB and Xero is required; familiarity with other financial services tools is a plus.
  • Experience with payroll processing, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
