Cummins is looking for a Field service Power generation to join our Distribution business in Edmonton, AB.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
:

  • Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Anticipate and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
  • Apply the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field
  • Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor

Responsibilities
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • Heavy duty mechanics journeyman certification is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to obtain an enhanced security clearance

Experience

  • Basic level field service work experience (Customer facing role).
  • Previous intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of PG products.
  • PG and High / Low Voltage experience.
  • Customer service experience.

About The Role

  • Position is based in Edmonton and servicing the Edmonton metropolitan region.
  • Working hours: Monday-Friday 730am to 4pm
  • Unionized environment
  • Hourly salary: 48.32$ as per current CBA plus hourly field service premium.
  • Cummins offers benefits DAY 1-No waiting period
