Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Service Technician located in Edmonton, AB. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, ensuring optimal performance in various operational settings. Key tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, providing preventive maintenance services, documenting work performed, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Customer interactions will be integral to the role, requiring clear communication and professional service.

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions under various circumstances.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to upholding safety standards.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and adapt to dynamic work environments.
  • Technical Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, mechanical, or equipment maintenance are highly preferred.
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or post-secondary education in a related field is an asset. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
