Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatcher located in Stoney Creek, ON. The Dispatcher will coordinate the scheduling and routing of freight deliveries, communicate with drivers, monitor delivery performance, and handle logistics support tasks. The role requires facilitating efficient transportation operations while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage schedules, routes, and deliveries effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and team members
  • Proficiency in transportation management software and familiarity with logistics and freight practices
  • Problem-solving abilities to address scheduling conflicts, delays, and other operational challenges
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and managing delivery records
  • Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred
  • Knowledge of local and regional transportation regulations is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
