Toronto, Ontario, Canada Tali AI Full time $150,000 - $250,000 per year

At Tali, we're tackling one of healthcare's most pressing challenges: the administrative burden that overwhelms clinicians and compromises patient care. Our AI-powered medical scribe is already transforming the industry, serving thousands of clinicians across Canada and the US. By accelerating millions of patient encounters annually, we save each clinician over 10 hours a week—adding up to 27 years of clinicians' time returned to the healthcare system every year.

Backed by a team with decades of experience from world-class companies like Amazon, Stripe, and Shopify, we're building a product that solves critical, real-world problems for clinicians today while laying the foundation for a more efficient and patient-centered healthcare system. Our customers trust our technology to deliver accurate, secure documentation, empowering them to focus on what matters most: exceptional patient care.

Why Join Tali

Impact at Scale: Your work will directly impact the Tali employment experience, enabling our team to improve the  lives of clinicians and patients, while reshaping the future of healthcare.

Technical Excellence: We're building a world-class product with cutting-edge technology, from full-stack development to ML, infrastructure, and security.

Ownership and Growth: As an early-stage startup, every team member has the opportunity to shape our technology, culture, and future. Whether you're a generalist who thrives on variety or a specialist eager to build entire systems from the ground up, your contributions will be pivotal.

Build with Purpose and Pride: Engineer systems that handle highly sensitive medical data with precision and care, knowing your work directly impacts the trust and safety of clinicians and patients.

A Team that Inspires: Collaborate with a talented, driven team that values innovation, humility, and a relentless focus on solving hard problems.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead our product management and design function and drive the successful scaling of Tali AI's product portfolio. You will oversee a team of product managers and designers, and partner with engineering, data science, marketing, customer success and sales to ensure we deliver innovative, reliable, and compliant products to our physician and enterprise customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will help define product strategy with the founders and own the execution while also rolling up your sleeves to ship impactful features. You should bring strong startup experience, a proven record of shipping and scaling, and a passion for healthcare innovation.

What You'll Do:
  • Champion and clearly articulate the product vision and strategy, translating company goals into ambitious and actionable product objectives.
  • Spot exciting new market opportunities and lead Tali AI's expansion into fresh segments and geographies.
  • Inspire, mentor, and elevate a talented team of product managers and designers.
  • Establish and continuously refine best practices in product discovery, prioritization, and execution.
  • Cultivate a dynamic culture of data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and rapid learning.
  • Lead end-to-end product development, from bold ideas to successful launches, ensuring excellence and speed in delivery.
  • Partner closely with engineering and data science to strike the right balance between innovation, scalability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate across sales, marketing, and customer success to drive adoption, fuel growth, and create seamless go-to-market execution.
  • Scale product development processes to support multiple product lines and a growing user base.
  • Track, measure, and optimize key product metrics to boost adoption, satisfaction, and impact.
  • Drive innovation in healthcare technology while ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PHIPA, etc.).
You may be a good fit if...
  • You have 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Head of Product, Director of Product, etc.).
  • You have a proven track record of successfully shipping and scaling products in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
  • You've demonstrated success in navigating uncertainty and operating with autonomy.
  • You have led product managers and cross-functional teams.
  • You have a strong understanding of B2B SaaS, ideally with exposure to healthcare or regulated industries.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution.
  • You're an excellent communicator and storyteller, with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with EMR/EHR integrations, medical workflows, or clinical AI applications.
